Duration: Start date ASAP– May 27 2024 Hours: Mon – Fri, 7:30 – 4:30. Opportunity for overtime, but not requiredPay: $20/hr, OT (anything over 40 hours) is $30/hr Location: Varies- Hartford (St. Francis, Mount Sinai), Springfield (Mercy), Waterbury (St. Mary’s)Project Overview: A top client of TEKsystems is upgrading their EHR (Electronic Health Record) system EPIC. In preparation for their Go-Live, TEKsystems will partner with this client to ensure their infrastructure meets the operational requirements of select software vender (Epic Systems). We are hiring multiple technicians to deploy and test the hardware with the new software. This is to ensure when they role out the software across the organization, there won’t be a mass outage leaving doctors, nurses, and staff without medical record access.
Deployment: install and deploy the newly acquired hardware and peripherals in preparation for Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) and Epic Go Live.
Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR): Epic capable devices need to be tested for all documented functions
Go-Live Support: offer last minute deployment, testing, configuration or routing to sites and devices prior to Epic software cut over and production usage. In addition to activities immediately prior to ‘go-live’, this team is a surge support function for sites once on the software. This team takes direction from the command center and can be rapidly mobilized for onsite device troubleshooting and installation or reconfiguration.

Will be interacting with everyone in the hospital (patients, doctors, nurses)
Ability to be on feet all day
