JOB SUMMARY Provides basic clinical and clerical support in the delivery of patient care within the Medical Assistant scope of education. The Medical Assistant experiences continued training of all aspects of the Medical Assistant role. Minimum Requirements Education Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic or Medic Certification OR relative experience as outlined below. Experience In lieu of education requirement, at least one year of experience in direct patient care (acute or ambulatory space) may be considered. Licensure, Certification, Registration Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. All required credentials to be maintained throughout employment. Language Skills Must be able to read and understand oral and written instructions, and effectively communicate information in English. Preferred Requirements Education Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program. Experience Relevant experience or MA externship in a busy medical office. EPIC EMR experience. Job Description: Performs, interprets and correlates clinical laboratory tests by following protocols to assist in the physician diagnosis and treatment of illness and disease. Expected to utilize complex problem-solving skills in resolving clinical and instrument problems. Bachelor\'s degree from a regionally accredited college/university,ANDsuccessful completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program One (1) year experience working as a technologist in a clinical laboratory ASCP or equivalent categorical/generalist certification Ability to adopt H3W Leadership behaviors and become a strong H3W ambassador Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal, written and listening) skills and good leadership abilities.
