OverviewGCIO is seeking a Program Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs Intake Coordination Team. This hands-on leader will oversee multiple projects and help develop and implement the Intake strategy. The role involves hiring and managing geographically dispersed resources, client interactions, and ensuring projects are staffed with quality resources that meet organizational objectives. The dynamic environment requires thought leadership, problem-solving, rapid learning, and an innovative mindset for guiding clients through conceptualization, strategic planning, and execution. Flexibility and forward-thinking are crucial. The ideal candidate excels in open communication, managing group dynamics, and promoting innovation, problem-solving, and effective decision-making. This fully US-Based remote position operates Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM ET.Responsibilities

Oversee client engagements, nurture relationships, and provide thought leadership to ensure the quality and success of engagements.

Translate complex issues into clear, compelling narratives and present performance reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Define and develop strategic goals for ICT andVAinitiatives, ensuring alignment with organizationalobjectives.

Design and implement a comprehensive change management strategy that aligns with ICT and organizational goals, addressing the needs of various portfolios, account groups, and stakeholders.

Track and report on the progress of change initiatives using OKRs, KPIs, and other metrics to measure success and make necessary adjustments.

Prepare and deliver high-level communications to executives, including presentations, reports, and briefings.

Collaborate with leaders and experts to plan and prepare for offsites, guide groups through agendas, ensure all voices are heard, manage group dynamics, and resolve conflicts.

Engage and communicate with diverse stakeholders to gain support, ensure alignment on strategic priorities, andfacilitateeffective collaboration.

Identifypotential risksimpactingICTobjectives, develop mitigation strategies, and implement risk management plans.

Manage action items and follow up with action owners to ensure resolution.

Hire, train, and mentor team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and retention.Identifyand streamline improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.

Maintaincomprehensive documentation of program activities, decisions, and lessons learned. Store official program data, documents, processes, and artifactsin accordance withVA directives.

Implement andmaintainprocesses to ensure deliverables meet required standards. Perform rigorous quality checks and validation processes to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and completeness.

Respond promptly to VA requests for document retrieval and ad hoc reports.

QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems, business, or related scientific /technical discipline is required with 15 + years of experience. An additional 10 year of experience may be substituted for the educational requirements.

Proven expertise in overseeing client engagements, fostering strong client relationships, and guiding teams with thought leadership to ensure successful and high-quality outcomes.

Proficiency in program control, including performance, cost, schedule, and resource management, with regular status reporting.

Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and organizations.

Expertise in developing and implementing strategic plans that align with organizational goals.

Exceptional skills in engaging and communicating with diverse stakeholders to gain support and ensure alignment.

Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams to achieve common goals.

Proven experience in leading and managing change initiatives, including developing change strategies and plans.

Experience in preparing and delivering high-level communications to executives, including presentations, reports, and briefings.

Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and guide teams.

Experience in developing and implementing strategies to mitigate or reduce the impact of risks.

Proven ability to monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives through OKRs, KPIs, and various other metrics.

Strong analytical skills to identify client challenges, evaluate processes and identify improvements.

Experience in requisition development, interviewing, staffing, resource management and managing remote teams.

Excellent organizational skills and effective time management for handling fast turnaround requests and multiple priorities.

Strong experience with Microsoft Office, MS Teams, workflows, and workflow management.

Must be a US citizen.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Leadership experience with Veterans Affairs or other government agencies.

PMP Certification, Scrum Master Certification, and/or other Agile/SAFe certifications.

Proficiency in life cycle and project management methodologies.

Experience with IT-related projects.

Proven experience in collaborating with team leaders and subject matter experts, facilitating discussions, and creating content.

Technical proficiency with content management systems and multimedia tools.

Proficient in using tools and techniques to enhance group discussions.

The Hartford Region Manger of Emergency Management’s will provide a leading role in supporting HH to be increasingly successfully in Emergency Management by leveraging HHC OEM’s five core capabilities including: (1) program management, (2) emergency operation plans, (3) response structure, (4) emergency communication system and (5) training, drill and exercise. This role will report to the Senior Director of Clinical Operations and will partner with other entity and SSO leadership as assigned. This role may directly or indirectly support Hartford HealthCare organization(s) such as acute care hospitals, behavioral health network, physician organizations, rehabilitation, home services and/or senior services. Job Responsibilities: 1. Provide project management and support for workgroups, committees and annual initiatives. 2. Coordinate, participate, mentor and lead HH to engage in annual goals, milestones and regulatory requirements as it relates to HHC’s cyclical emergency management processes 3. Support all aspects of the local Emergency Management Program and ensures uniformity of practice. 4. Collaborate, develop, post and share plans, policies and procedures as it relates to program management or response. 5. Investigates, researches, makes recommendations and implements smart practices in Emergency Management and safety. 6. Provides operational support, a response structure and leadership to HH before, during and after emergencies. 7. Provides operational support and leadership with standard practices and tools such as decontamination, response to mass casualty incidents, emergency notification system, electronic emergency management resources, among others. 8. Develops and sustains internal and external relationships to support the Emergency Management Program. 10. Requires response to emergencies outside of normal business hours or participates in an on-call system. Bachelor’s degree in public administration, healthcare administration, public health, business administration, program management, leadership, fire sciences, criminal justice, paramedicine, government, non-profit management or related fields.
