As a Senior Data Engineer, you will take a leadership role in designing and developing large-scale analytics applications on the cloud. Working independently and collaboratively with data engineers, software engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts, you will solve complex healthcare industry problems. This position requires expertise in data engineering, software engineering, and data science, as you will be responsible for driving the design and implementation of analytics applications across various domains. A minimum of five years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent are required for this role.Required Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience as an Software/Data Engineer or in a similar role.
3+ years with data engineering, software engineering, and data science concepts including MLOps and Devops.
3+ years with programming languages such as Python or Java.
1+ years with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Beam.
3+ years of experience with SQL, relational databases, data warehouses and non-relational data sources.
1+ years of experience with cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
1+ years of experience in designing, implementing and maintaining REST services.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience mentoring or providing guidance to junior team members is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and data privacy concerns is highly desirable.
Extensive experience in designing and developing large-scale analytics applications on cloud platforms.
Proven expertise in building robust data pipelines and ETL processes to transform and prepare data for analytics.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively drive projects to completion.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$97,335.00 - $201,900.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
