34 year old male with 75% CP and 25% MS is seeking an aquatic therapy assistant twice a week. Gentleman lives in Middletown and travels to Gaylord Rehabilitation hospital in Wallingford for his workout. Gentleman has a 60 minute routine that he does each trip. The pool is open 4-8pm Monday through Thursday and the gentleman will be flexible on when he will go and do his workout. Assistant will pick up the gentleman at the home in Middletown and then drive his minivan to the pool, enter the pool with him and assist him with his routine each time. After he completes his workout you’ll drive back to his home and assist him with a relatively quick shower to get the chlorine off him. The entire shift lasts on average 2.5-3 hours per trip. His aquatic assistant had to leave in January for her PT clinical. Gentleman takes his aquatic therapy seriously and hopes that he can find an assistant who will do the same!
