Job Description:
As a Caregiver at ENAVI LLC, you will provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities to our clients in their homes. Your role will be vital in supporting clients' independence, safety, and comfort, while offering companionship and emotional support. Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive balanced, nutritious meals.
Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
Monitor and remind clients to take their medications on time as directed.
Help with mobility and physical activities as needed, including transfers and exercises.
Provide transportation to appointments or assist with errands as required.
Observe and report changes in clients’ health, behavior, or needs to the care coordinator.
Maintain accurate daily records and communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous caregiving experience (paid or volunteer) is preferred.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification: Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred but not required.
Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish (is a huge plus and highly preferred).
Skills:
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
o Compassionate, patient, and attentive to clients’ needs
o Strong time management and organizational skills
Requirements:
o Must be at least 18 years old
o Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
o Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
o Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and moving clients when necessary
