UNIVERSITY ASSISTANT: ON-SITE SUPPORT
Inventory technician position
Hours: 19 hours per week (no benefits)
Salary: $15-$19 /hour (depending on experience)
Information Technology is seeking to hire a University Assistant to work in our warehouse. The position is 19 hours per week, schedule to be determined between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities: Maintains and monitors all inventory movement of electronic data processing equipment within Information Technology Service, including the preparation of equipment for disposal, donation and re-distribution. Tracks all incoming and outgoing equipment and works closely with Facilities management personnel to ensure high quality inventory standards. Formatting and re-imaging of computer hard drives, and providing back-up technical support to ITS.
Qualifications: Lifting of computers, monitors and printers; must be able to bend, stoop, stretch and stand with no restrictions. Candidate must be organized, knowledge of MS Word and Excel required.
