Seeking a person full time for a vast variety of cleaning responsibilities. The individual we are looking for will need to have a valid drivers license and be available to work full-time hours between the hours of 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, Saturday 8am-3pm and Sunday 8am-3pm (2 weekends per month on 2 weekends per month off) (Because weekend hours are essential for this position you would have two scheduled days off during the week the weeks that you are working the weekend) you will also have a lunch break of up to one hour per day for you to take some downtime.
This position is casual dress as long as the clothing is appropriate for the workplace, no offensive wording, lots of holes, etc.
This is for a small business that is high volume, we all pitch in and do several different things and are not limited to one task throughout the day. You will learn a lot here and there will never be a day where you are staring at the clock because you are bored or have too much downtime we will keep you busy and your days will fly by! You must be able to follow written and verbal directions and have the ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
Some of the job responsibilities will include;
1) Cleaning of our two locations i.e. sweeping, mopping, dusting, bathrooms, maintaining and ordering or purchasing cleaning supplies, and toiletry products as needed and the ability to travel to each of our locations as needed independently they are located in New Britain, CT. and in East Hartford, CT. (13 Miles Apart)
2) Cleaning Budget Rental Trucks inside the cabs, and sweeping out the boxes (you must be able to safely and securely climb into and out of these trucks, the sizes are cargo vans, 12' box, 16' box, 24-26' box.
3) Ability to drive the trucks as needed to fuel, clean, and or take to other locations as needed by Budget
