Trailer Truck Temp Checker in a distribution warehouse truck yard

Job Location: Bloomfield/Windsor Line - NOT on bus route
Pay: $20/hr
Shift: Thursday through Saturday 4 AM-4 PM / Wednesday 10AM-4PM - Start right away
Additional hours possible - always OT avaialble

Temp position to start but full time and LONG TERM. Possible temp to perm opportunity
Qualifications:
Must have prior OUTDOOR work experience and perfect attendance history
Must be able to open and close tractor-trailer doors multiple times per shift
Must be ok working outside in all kinds of weather (RAIN, SNOW, HOT, COLD) walking through a truck yard
Able to write numbers neatly and or use a cell phone or tablet
Holiday work is required - no unscheduled time off and no extra holiday pay
Reliable transportation as driving in your vehicle in bad weather is very helpful
Responsibilities:
Must commit to the entire shift every week - no call outs.
Walking a large truck center and checking temps and contents of tractor-trailers
Sometimes work at the gate verifying trucks temperatures and contents before departure
Logging info for every truck and using radio to communicate with Dispatchers
On your feet the entire shift and outdoors in all types of weather
Working alone in a truck yard
