We are a 7-employee property and casualty insurance association operating in Connecticut.
Our company is seeking detailed oriented, attitude-positive candidates to apply for this position.
This is a part-time, 15 hours/week position. Daily hours are fluid and flexible depending on workload. Emphasis on work hour commitment is placed on the earlier days of the week.
This job is low stress, self-directed, and set in a welcoming and low-key atmosphere. This position enjoys benefits not usually seen with part-time arrangements. Currently this position is carried out from our physical office location in East Hartford. Onsite training will be provided. Hourly salary starts at $25.00/hour.
Responsibilities include:
Processing premium payments and issuing insurance policies
Transmitting invoices and accounts payable transactions to our financial services partners
Customer contact on outstanding check matters
Outreach to agencies on commission matters
Completing daily remote banking deposit
NSF check processing and recording
Verification of account coding of expenses
Required skills:
Working knowledge of Excel
Detailed oriented
Ability to problem solve and think critically
