Brand new social media platform is starting a beta launch of their app in the upcoming weeks.
The initial focus will be on Uconn campuses around the state, but will very quickly expand to other colleges around the state in the upcoming months.
The position is for our marketing representative or CORE staff in charge of new customer acquisition.
The role involves calling upon restaurant owners and other small business owners near a school campus to have them promoted for freeall it requires them to do is provide a educational/student discount.
Due to the Covid situation this role can be done remotely and applicants work partial as a 1099 independent contractor and $12/hr 20-40 hours a week on average. Advancement opportunities are available for management roles to an assigned territory. Office desk space can be arranged in the Berlin, CT area, but the position can also be done remotely from home or school.
Applicants ideally have reliable transportation, but not required for the right candidate.
Candidate needs to be reliable and have access to internet and phone service to work remotely.
No experience is required, but candidates with a strong work ethic and some sales experience preferred. Otherwise the candidate needs to be willing to learn how to professional call upon small business owners in the CT area.
