ActionLink is seeking a Retail Reset & Remodel Team Lead to coordinate the overall execution of household hardware related merchandising services and new display installations in Lowe's stores.
The ideal fit is an individual with retail leadership experience who is willing to travel, has mechanical aptitude, and can communicate well with others in order to advise and guide a team of individuals through the safe and quality completion of hands-on projects.

PAY RATES:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience
W-2 bi-weekly pay schedule
SCHEDULE:
This is a temporary program starting August 3rd
5 (8-hour) shifts each week for 6 weeks per store assignment; team will move on to additional stores in the fall/early winter
6:00am - 3:00pm Monday-Friday with 1 hour unpaid break during each shift
JOB DUTIES:
Lead and provide instruction to a team of individuals in completing various reset projects and some heavier remodel moves in accordance with all safety standards
Analyze sets of instructions and/or planograms to build and install new display sets
Rearrange metal shelving and assemble new fixtures or gondolas
Move large items (e.g., carpet rolls, plumbing, appliances, construction materials, etc.)
Rotate and restock merchandise and other product items
Put up new signage, promotional materials, and pricing stickers
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior retail, merchandising, and/or supervisory experience strongly preferred; however comparable skills and experience will be considered
Working knowledge of manual and power tools (e.g., wrenches, drills, saws, etc.)
Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, climb ladders, bend/kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs for longer periods of time
Available to work Monday-Friday
IMPORTANT NOTE: The first store location starting in August is in Amherst, New Hampshire so willingness to travel is required. We are providing mileage/drivetime reimbursement, a private extended stay hotel room, plus meal accommodations (can travel back and forth on weekends as desired). Subsequent store locations are all in the Hartford metro area such as Manchester and Cromwell
