Fresh Start Pallet Products is looking to hire a Lead Carpenter for a full-time position in our Hartford,
CT location. The position is available immediately.
+ Job Title and Overview
Lead Carpenter-This position is for an employee highly proficient in carpentry, fine woodworking and
cabinetry skills. The position is approximately 36-40 hours a week with the opportunity for overtime. You
will be responsible for building and installing high quality products while maintaining a professional and safe
work environment.
+ Essential Job Functions
-Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
-Oversee and manage all aspects of carpentry projects from start to finish
-Monitor project progress and quality control to ensure work meets specifications
-Collaborate with project managers, employees, and clients to ensure project success
-Train and mentor carpentry team members
-Experience with working/training people from other cultures that speak different languages
-Ability to work with customers on installations of projects at homes or businesses
-Proficient in cabinetry
-Proficient in finish application
+ Education and Experience
-Proven experience as a lead carpenter in a similar role in the field
-Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
-Leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage projects
-Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
