Parts Department Manager Auto body shop.
Collision Automotive CARSTAR is looking for the right individual to oversee our parts department. The position involves checking in of parts deliveries, inspecting parts for quality and accuracy, posting the parts to the repair management software, identifying the repair order on each part, inventory of the part on our mobile rack system, distribution of parts to technicians, parts returns, and various other tasks to facilitate the smooth flow of cars through the repair process. The job involves some sitting at a computer workstation, some standing and movement of carts and some light lifting. Computer database management and some automotive knowledge are not required, but would be helpful. Automotive parts department experience is a big plus. Candidates should be detail oriented, possess strong organizational skills, be familiar with Microsoft Excel and be adaptable to diverse environments. We are a 14 employee business with a full benefits package including health insurance, retirement program, paid holidays and vacations, paid uniforms/clothing and a team based bonus system. Starting compensation will be based on experience and background. We will train if you have limited experience. Shop operates Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm.
