We are seeking a skilled and reliable Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for addressing and completing work orders related to property repairs and maintenance, ensuring our properties are well-maintained and our tenants are satisfied.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform basic plumbing repairs (e.g., fixing leaks, unclogging drains, replacing fixtures).
Conduct basic electrical repairs (e.g., changing light fixtures, switches, and outlets).
Handle general maintenance tasks such as painting, patching walls, and minor carpentry work.
Respond to and complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
Communicate effectively with tenants regarding maintenance needs, timelines, and follow-ups.
Schedule and coordinate appointments for repairs or inspections as necessary.
Provide regular updates to the office regarding completed tasks and any issues requiring further attention.
Maintain an organized record of completed and pending work orders.
Requirements:
Experience in property maintenance or a related field.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, painting, and general repairs.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Reliable transportation to travel between properties.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform manual labor tasks.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional availability for emergencies on evenings or weekends as needed.
