Full-Time
Location: Stafford Springs, CT
Experienced construction Diesel Mechanic needed to run our shop and yard.
Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for completing service repair reports and other company documents
Document all repairs and maintenance
Analysis and evaluation on machinery to establish if there is a need to repair, service or replace parts
Experience working on vehicles, motors and heavy equipment such as excavator, loaders, bobcat and bulldozer etc.
Research pricing for parts
Perform other duties as assigned
Mechanic Qualifications:
Experience with gas and diesel engines which include: transmission, axles, fabrication, hydraulics, electrical, preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as well as annual inspections
4 years heavy equipment and truck maintenance experience (may substitute 1 year with 1 year technical school training)
Our ideal candidate will be self motivated and have excellent time management skills.
Valid Drivers' License (CDL a plus)
Must have or obtain OSHA 10hr card
