The ideal candidate will personable and be able to work well with others. This position requires an attention to detail as well as organizational and multitasking skills.
The highlights of the position are to ensure that the fleet is in good working order, and clean (inside and out). This will involve washing and drying vehicles in our automatic car wash, and cleaning & vacuuming out vehicle interiors (there are only a few vehicles that need to be hand-washed). All vehicles are stored inside our heated garages, so dirt and grime are at a minimum.
This position will also require the candidate to schedule routine maintenance, and schedule and track DOT inspections (for larger vehicles). When necessary, you will be required to work with our in-house mechanic to inform them of vehicle issues, and order parts. You will also maintain the relationships with our outside mechanical vendors to arrange for the delivery, diagnosis, repair and return of the vehicles.
This position will also be responsible for keeping the fleet area clean, and also light-duty building maintenance (replace bulbs, keeping pathways clear, Zamboni the floor, etc.)
Flexibility is a must during the winter months.
Light-Duty Vehicle Maintenance Experience - Rotate Tires, Change Headlights, etc.
