Due to growth we are currently seeking to add a Senior Accountant to our exceptional team. You will need to be organized, detail oriented, have experience in financial monthly/quarterly/year end close and ability to understand complex financial integrations. The successful candidate will be responsible for key financial functions of a high growth company; this role plays a critical role in budgeting, forecasting and planning to continue our consistent growth plans. What Do We Do? We create real relationships and raving fans by implementing and supporting best in class technology. Duties & Responsibilities:
Handle day to day financial operations in our growing Middletown office
Closing monthly financial statements and maintaining all relevant support schedules
Managing A/R and A/P
Responsible for financial audits
Determine and evaluate funding opportunities (company & employee)
Financial vendor management
Employee payroll oversight
Evaluating and updating internal control documentation
Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting
Working with Finance and Operations Manager to manage the cash flow cycle
Working with Finance and Operations Manager and external auditors on annual audit process
Manage year end close and communication with tax partner
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with major in accounting or finance required, CPA a plus
4+ years of work experience in accounting or finance
Strong financial comprehension (US GAAP) and experience with monthly/year-end close process
Strong project management skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple parties
Familiarity with managing third party vendors for fulfillment
Previous acquisition integration experience, a strong plus
Proficient in ConnectWise a strong plus
Ability to work closely with both CEO and Finance and Operations Manager and is comfortable managing multiple timelines and deliverables
Collaborative personality enjoys working with others and coaching staff
Metrics and process-driven, passionate about numbers as well as people and comfortable switching between high-level business objectives and tangible, sometimes messy day-to-day financial operations
Proven track record of experience with customer success and/or managing finances for fast growing teams; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Goal oriented, committed to deadlines.
