Overview:

-We are a family run business with a high energy, happy and positive team. We are looking for someone like-minded. We are growth oriented and our employees grow alongside our business. We very much function as a unit. We work hard and play hard - taking lots of long weekends because we know that rest cultivates creativity and fuels a strong work ethic.

-We’re looking for a Project Coordinator who can bridge the gap between the field, the office, and the client. If you’re organized, communicative, and energized by being both in the field and behind a laptop, this role might be a fit for you.

-You don’t need to be a builder. You don’t need to know how to pull a permit or run a subcontractor walkthrough (yet). You just need the drive to learn, the initiative to follow up, and the presence to hold your own with skilled trades and discerning homeowners.

-This is a team-first role. You’re not above picking up a broom, scrubbing a floor, or stepping in to make sure a job site looks great -before a client walkthrough. Whether it's dusting off trim or tightening a loose doorknob, you care about the finished product and we all pitch in to get it there.

-You’ll work alongside the head of field operations and head of office operations, designers, architects, town officials, subcontractors, gradually taking on more responsibility as you grow into the role.

What This Role Is Great For:

This position is a match for many backgrounds — and we mean that. You don’t need construction experience. You just need to be organized, proactive, and ready to learn.

This could be perfect for:

-Someone early in their design, architecture, business, or construction career

-A documentarian or office pro who’s tired of being behind a desk and wants more variety

-A natural coordinator who thrives on helping others stay organized

-Someone at a career pivot who brings energy, structure, and strong communication

-A tech-savvy person who’s great at documentation, digital tools, and follow-through

-ANYONE excited to learn on the job, work hands-on, and help build something meaningful

What You’ll Learn to Do (No Experience Required):

We will teach you everything below — what we need is someone excited to take it on.

Before Construction Starts:

Assist in developing permit-ready plans (we’ll show you the process)

Coordinate with local building officials to submit and track permits

Work with subcontractors to define scope and align with budgets

Help track finish selections, delivery timelines, and client design preferences

Build out and maintain job folders — both physical and digital

Input and update project schedules in shared calendars

Walk job sites with the crew to ensure clarity before start

During Construction:

Document site progress with photos and written notes

Track and revise project schedules as work progresses

Support communication between the office, field, and homeowner

Ensure materials are scheduled and available on time

Provide weekly updates to clients

During Final Phases:

Coordinate punch list items and finishing trades

Track all remaining to-dos and follow them through to completion

Verify all final finish details are correct — vent covers installed, trim completed, hardware in place

Close out the permit and ensure all inspections are passed

Deliver the job in clean, homeowner-ready condition

Step in where needed — sweep floors, tidy up spaces, and ensure every detail looks ready for photos

Capture final photos and request client reviews

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day:

Asking smart questions, documenting clear answers

Talking to homeowners, office staff, field crew, and subcontractors

Helping organize files, plans, and job folders

Troubleshooting small problems before they become big ones

Making sure jobs don’t just get built — they get finished

What You Bring:

Clear, respectful communication — spoken and written

Comfort working with both trades and clients

Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, and mobile tools (or willingness to learn) like Team Up calendar, Loom and Wave A1

Confidence in learning new systems — permit portals and digital files

Curiosity, drive, and a bias toward action

Ability to observe how experienced people do things and then put it into writing

Bonus: a background or interest in design, architecture, or system building

Success in This Role Looks Like:

Job folders are complete and ready before construction begins

Homeowners receive weekly updates without having to ask

Crews and subcontractors go to you with questions and updates

Final punch lists are short — and quickly handled

Permits are closed, photos are taken, and clients are thrilled

You’re present on-site, lending a hand when needed — even if that means sweeping the floor
