Hello! We are looking to hire a full-time Cigar Lounge Attendant (36 hours per week) to join our team. This is an entry-level role with no prior experience required. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, customer-focused, and enthusiastic about creating a welcoming environment for all new guests and existing members.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and warmly upon arrival
- Provide knowledgeable assistance with cigar selections (training provided)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable lounge environment
- Assist with lounge upkeep, including restocking cigars, cutting and lighting assistance, and general maintenance
- Prepare and serve beverages, as needed, while adhering to all safety and compliance guidelines
- Monitor and maintain proper humidification of cigars and ensure product freshness
- Ability to learn / handle our basic POS / register system
- Address customer inquiries and ensure a positive guest experience
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and health regulations
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation and a friendly, courteous demeanor
- Ability to learn and retain product knowledge through on-the-job training
- Basic understanding of—or willingness to learn—cigar care, storage, and selection techniques
- Must be at least 21 years of age, due to age restrictions on tobacco products
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move boxes of merchandise (up to 25 lbs.)
Schedule:
- Full-time, 36 hours per week
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings as required
