Accurately tag and log items into the system, noting special instructions (e.g., "stain removal," "delicate fabric").
Explain services, pricing, and turnaround times clearly.
Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues if needed.
Order Management
Inspect garments for damage, stains, or missing buttons before accepting them.
Label items correctly to prevent mix-ups or lost orders.
Track orders and update customers on status (e.g., delays, readiness).
Manage rush orders and prioritize accordingly.
Payment & Point-of-Sale (POS) Tasks
Process payments (cash, credit, or digital) and issue receipts.
Reconcile cash drawer at shift start/end.
Apply discounts, promotions, or loyalty rewards.
Quality Control
Verify cleaned/laundered items meet quality standards before handing them to customers.
Report recurring issues (e.g., unresolved stains, pressing errors) to management.
Housekeeping & Organization
Keep the counter area tidy, stocked with supplies (hangers, bags, tags), and free of clutter.
Ensure racks of finished orders are organized for easy pickup.
