Job Title: Emission Technician
Location: Cos Central Auto, 1652 North Broad St, Meriden, CT 06450
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Compensation: $15.00 per hour + tips
Job Description:
Cos Central Auto, an official emission testing station, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Emission Technician. The technician will be responsible for conducting vehicle emissions tests in compliance with state regulations. This role involves interacting with customers, ensuring proper testing procedures, and maintaining accurate records of tests performed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform emissions tests on various vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with state emissions standards.
- Communicate test results and procedures clearly to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the testing area.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the automotive field is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and customer service-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
