This Clinical Nutrition Manager will be responsible for ensuring the implementation, training, and utilization of Sodexo clinical, meal service and menu management systems. This 510-bed level 1 trauma center is part of Yale New Haven Health System, Connecticut’s leading healthcare system, consisting of Bridgeport, Greenwich, Lawrence + Memorial, Yale New Haven and Westerly hospitals.Reporting to the Client Executive, the successful candidate will:
Oversee the clinical nutrition program at Yale New Haven’s Saint Raphael Campus
lead, supervise and train a team of 6 Dietitian Nutritionists;
foster a culture of collaboration, professional development, and career growth;
implement Sodexo’s clinical and meal service programs;
drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects;
provide training and education to the food service staff, as well as interdisciplinary healthcare professionals;
be the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff and represent the department on hospital wide committees; and
serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team and assist in food service management as needed.
