Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Facilities Assistant in New Haven, Connecticut. The role is situated in the industry of facilities maintenance, requiring a highly organized and detail-oriented individual. The Facilities Assistant will be responsible for a range of tasks including small furniture assembly, general cleaning tasks, and maintaining the overall upkeep of the premises. Responsibilities: Ensuring the maintenance of the facility is up to standard Assembling small furniture pieces such as TV stands, nightstands, and kitchen tables Conducting general cleaning of the designated areas within the facility Providing excellent customer service, addressing and resolving inquiries promptly Utilizing assembly equipment for various tasks in a safe and efficient manner Communicating effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations Upholding a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the facility Regular monitoring and maintenance of customer accounts and records Processing customer applications accurately and efficiently Maintaining accurate customer credit records. Requirements Should possess strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and clients Must have customer service skills to maintain a high level of service Knowledge of assembly equipment for efficient operations Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently Should have basic computer skills including MS Office Experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory Basic maintenance skills would be beneficial Must be able to follow safety procedures and regulations High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends if necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
