Description We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in the greater Fort Wayne, Indiana area. As an HR Generalist, you will be accountable for auditing timecards, administering benefits, and implementing policies and procedures. This role also involves handling employee relations, participating in recruiting and onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities: Audit timecards to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing Administer employee benefits and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations Implement and update company policies and procedures Handle employee relations, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally Participate in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening candidates, and conducting interviews Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company Maintain open and effective communication lines within the organization Ensure adherence to FMLA regulations and other applicable laws Encourage detail-oriented development within the team, including the pursuit of relevant HR certifications.Requirements Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role. Demonstrable experience with benefit functions. Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing. Proficient in compliance and maintaining adherence to company and legal standards. Proven ability in managing employee relations and resolving issues. Familiarity with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) regulations. Experience with time card systems and payroll processes. Proven track record in successful recruiting and talent acquisition strategies. Experience in conducting onboarding sessions for new hires.
