We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while preparing and serving fresh deli products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their deli selections.
Prepare and slice meats, cheeses, and other deli items according to customer specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter and surrounding areas.
Ensure all products are fresh, properly labeled, and displayed attractively.
Operate deli equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
Qualifications
experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred
Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients.
A passion for food and knowledge of various deli products is a plus.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
