Cohen's Bagel Company opened its doors in Madison, Connecticut in June 2003 after a disappointing search for a good bagel. We moved to the area in 2001 falling in love with the quaint town, friendly folks and beautiful beaches. But one thing was missing from our new home. As much as we searched for our staple breakfast, a bagel with cream cheese, we continued to come up empty. Something had to be done, our hunger had to be satisfied and so, the Cohen's concept was born.

We are looking for a reliable and energetic Prep & Sandwich Maker to join our team and help us deliver great food and excellent customer service. We are located at 1347 Boston Post Road Madison, CT. Assemble sandwiches, wraps, and bagel creations quickly and accurately. Ensure all food items are prepared, stored, and handled safely following health and sanitation guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized prep and sandwich station throughout the shift. Restock and rotate supplies as needed to ensure freshness and availability. Accurately take and fulfill customer orders in a friendly and professional manner. Assist with catering orders and packaging to-go items. Support team members with opening and closing duties as required. Communicate effectively with bakery and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. QualificationsPrevious experience in food prep, deli, or sandwich making preferred but not required (willing to train the right candidate).Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.We are looking forward to reading your application.
