Groundsman for Tree Service
Basic Minimum Requirements:
1.) Proper Temperament for a Tree Work Job Site
2.) Good Physical Condition
3.) Disciplined use of Helmet, Safety Glasses, Hi Vis Clothing, Boots
4.) Productive Tree Worker
5.) Regular Driver's License in good standing
My Ideal candidate has:
1.) Experience on a professional tree crew
2.) Skill with arborist rope rigging on the ground side
3.) Porter Wrap, pulleys, rigging line, tag line, delivery line
4.) Drag Brush
5.) Move Cut Logs
6.) Maintain Saws, Sharpen Saws
It would be an extra level up, if you have a CDL or if you are an experienced bucket operator or climber.

I'm a skilled groundsman and I'm onsite to help everything go smoothly.
Work usually starts and ends at my yard in Waterbury.
Tree work is very hard work.
For the most pay, and the least work, I recommend you look for work other than tree work.
People who do tree work and are good at it do it because they love it.
