Irrigation Technician/ Helper
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and abilities; will train the right person:
Spring Start-Ups/ Fall Winterizations
Perform day to day service of clients systems as scheduled
Customer service skills
Ability to work independently and in teams in order to meet deadlines
Service, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems
Set and maintain times on computer and electronic valve clocks, troubleshoots irrigation controllers, solenoid valves, and heads of all all major brands of irrigation equipment
The ability to work with well irrigation systems
Wire finding
Recommend repairs and upgrades to the client when needed
Recognition of quality work and the ability to produce it
Accurate tracking of materials and labor for each client
Prepare proper tools & supplies for the job
Ensure daily time sheet and work orders are completed properly
Ensure customer satisfaction
Track vehicle usage and submit necessary work orders for service
Track equipment usage and submit necessary work orders for service
Maintain an organized and fully stocked truck at all times
Valid driver’s license/Good driving record
