Location: North Haven, CT
Starting Pay: $17
This position is 17/hr during training period, then is a 16.35 plus piece rate. Make the most you can with hard fast work
Job Summary:
Join our fast-paced pallet repair team! We are looking for hardworking, reliable General Laborers with hands-on skills in repairing and rebuilding wooden pallets. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and comfort using power tools like nail guns, saws, and other hand tools. Previous experience in construction, roofing, or carpentry is a big plus!
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, repair, and rebuild wooden pallets to company quality standards
Safely and efficiently operate nail guns and other hand/power tools
Remove damaged boards and replace with new lumber
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Meet daily production and quality goals
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
Nail gun experience is required (must be confident and skilled)
Experience in construction, roofing, or carpentry preferred
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, industrial environment
