JOB SUMMARY
Position Overview: As an Event Setup and Breakdown Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of various events. Your responsibilities will include setting up staging sites, assembling and disassembling pipe and drape, staging, platforms, signs, and parking cones, as well as assisting with seat removal from theatres. This position involves manual labor and the use of power tools and various tools to complete the tasks. You will work as part of a supportive team in a positive and healthy work environment. Key Responsibilities: Event Setup: Safely assemble and arrange staging, platforms, and pipe and drape according to event specifications. Install and arrange signage and parking cones to ensure a clear and organized event space. Event Breakdown: Efficiently dismantle and store event equipment and materials after the event's conclusion. Assist with the removal and reinstallation of theatre seats as needed.
