Again, NO EXPERIENCE necessarybut the experience will be amazing. Past interns from this same consultant now have their own PR and Ad agencies, work for Bain & Associates, are over marketing at Red Hat, have launched #1 best-selling products (like Netscape and AOL), work at Cisco, Symantec, Apple, Motorola, Dell, etc. This is one of the most comprehensive, fast paced but exciting chances to learn and do real marketing and it has helped launch entire careers.

You will work side by side with the company and the consultant to setup and execute everything (and will receive samples, templates, examples, help, coaching and review for everything”we typically meet (via Skype three or more times per week and work on our deliverables in between). Some of the work is boring (like with every job), but MOST is notvery roll up your sleeves and get it done type of work that drives the brand preference and spikes sales.

Knowledge & Skills

This is a marketing, not a technical rolebut you must be very comfortable with technology, have a passion for it, and must know MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Must have EXCELLENT English writing skills (all marketing positions write), have access to a high speed internet connection, and have own laptop/computer (with MS Office or Open Office). Because the company works US and International, any foreign language is a plus.

A high degree of organization and self-motivation and marketing PASSION is required. This person must quickly learn the product and the market and contribute. Must be assertive to get what you need to accomplish projects.

Although this is NOT a sales role, you will be working with and helping the resellersso any sales experience (so you can relate and coach) is helpful.

Prefer a responsible Junior-Senior in college working on a business degree with an emphasis in marketing, PR, business, journalism, medical, or a technical major (if you also want to work in marketing) preferred since this will be applicable experience, or an MBA candidate that wants real experience (but must be very teachable (will learn a LOT of new concepts fastand then execute)).

New graduate is an option but MUST, MUST, MUST commit to a minimum of 3 months of work (don't want to train and have you leave too soon). Potential to be hired full-time later if there is a good fit and as revenues increase.

15 up to 30 hours/week or Full-Time if out of school (please specify preference).

Pay

- $12.00/hour. Not a lot of money, but the marketing experience is priceless.
