Large-format graphics producer is seeking a 1099 contractor for a Graphic Production Designer to create and process art files for both screen-printing and digital printing output. The position is more focused on the operational side of the business rather than creative. There are five software platforms we use: Adobe Creative Suite, Wasatch, Onyx, Fiery and Trello.
Adobe is used for creating customer proofs and designing banners. Wasatch is used for creating film positives for the screen-printing operation. The position requires a working knowledge of setting up spot color files with traps and gradients for creating screens. The Onyx RIP software is used to process files that are sent to the HP printers and the Fiery software runs the EFI Vutek LED printers. Trello is the communication/order entry platform where jobs are organized for production.
Candidates must have familiarity with tasks required in a fast paced, busy large-format graphics printing environment such as creating customer proofs, file processing for print output, managing and organizing customer files, creating film positives for screen-printing, and interfacing and communicating with customers. This is a 1099 contractor position. Some on-site work is required while some functions can be performed remotely.
