Overview
JFD Tube & Coil Products, Inc is a custom manufacturer of shell & tube heat exchangers for HVAC, oil & refinery, chemical, and pulp & paper industries. The successful candidate will be setting up and operating machine shop equipment in a safe manner, and in accordance with blueprints and our quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Will need to be able to run manual lathes, radial drills proficiently and other work pieces
2. Operating handheld tools and other equipment a regular part of work
3. Must be able to read micrometers and calipers
4. Keep work area neat, clean, and organized
5. Assist and help other shop co-workers as needed
Skills & Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for 8 hours
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to communicate and be trained effectively
Excellent attitude in a team environment, and timeliness
Sense of urgency
Education & Experience:
1. High School Diploma / GED required. Certificate from a college or trade school, or an equivalent amount of experience on the job
2. Must be able to read and understand a detailed shop drawing in English
3. Other machine experience a plus
4. High attention to detail, with ability to analyze complex information
5. Preferred 5+ years of lathe experience
Salary & Benefits:
Hourly wage to be determined $18-$22 /hr DOE. Benefits include (after probationary period) paid vacation & paid holidays, Bonus, 401(k) with matching, profit sharing, medical, dental, life insurance.
