Job Description:

As a Vehicle Advisor at Mongoose Industry LLC, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, managing their service experience from start to finish. Your role will involve understanding customers’ needs, providing accurate diagnostics, and ensuring that all services and repairs are completed to the highest standards. You will also handle critical administrative tasks, such as managing invoices and receipts, ordering parts, and coordinating with warranty and insurance companies. Additionally, you will assist in setting up rental cars through our exclusive partner, Mongoose Enterprise LLC, and provide support to the shop manager and technicians to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and assess their vehicle issues and service needs.

Provide clear, detailed explanations of recommended services, repairs, and maintenance.

Prepare accurate estimates for customers and obtain approval before proceeding with work.

Maintain precise records of invoices, receipts, and customer interactions.

Order necessary parts, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery.

Contact warranty and insurance companies to process claims and verify coverage.

Facilitate the setup of rental cars through our exclusive partner, Mongoose Enterprise, for customers needing temporary transportation.

Act as a liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring effective communication regarding repair status and progress.

Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.

Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs.

Assist the shop manager and technicians with any additional tasks necessary to ensure smooth business operations.

Take initiative and be self-driven while working effectively within a team environment.

Help with simple car tasks as needed to support shop operations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; automotive certification or college degree in automotive technology is a plus.

Previous experience in an automotive repair shop or related field is preferred.

Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and repair procedures.

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.

Proficient in managing invoices, receipts, and order processing.

Experience with warranty and insurance claims is a plus.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with a team.

Proficiency in using computer systems for service management and customer record-keeping.

Willingness to assist with basic car tasks and support shop operations as needed.
