Guilford to Wallingford (daily round trips) Trips start near Guilford High School
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, twice daily. Round trip including loading and unloading, takes an hour a half plus or minus 15 minutes. The morning trip starts with loading at 8:30 AM. The afternoon trip starts at about 2:35 PM.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Driver to transport a special needs young adult and her nurse between Guilford and Wallingford, Monday through Friday. As a key member of our support team, you will ensure the safe and comfortable transportation of our client, with occasional assistance from their accompanying nurse.
Responsibilities:
Safely drive the client between Guilford and Wallingford, twice daily, Monday through Friday.
Assist with loading and unloading the client, who uses a wheelchair (easy process, with nurse support). Maintain a clean and comfortable vehicle environment.
Requirements:
Dependability: punctuality and reliability are crucial for this role.
Valid Driver's License: With a good driving record (no special license required)
Ability to Assist: Comfortable helping with wheelchair loading/unloading (with nurse support)
State Funded:
This position is funded through a state self-directed program. Competitive part-time compensation.
