We are a family owned second generation multiple dealership for municipal & truck equipment business 50 years in the making. We are looking for Automotive Electricians & Mechanics with at least 3+ years experience. The kind of No Nonsense, No Excuses Individual that knows Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction is Priority.
We are looking to hire a skilled auto electrician to work in our ever growing equipment dealership. Your duties will include installing and repairing electrical wiring, diagnosing problems with vehicle electrical systems, repairing damaged electrical parts, and maintaining electrical equipment for municipal truck and equipment.
To ensure success as a valued team member, you should have extensive knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems, have a good eye for detail, and be able to problem-solve complex electrical problems. Ultimately, a top-notch equipment electrician can install, troubleshoot and repair any electrical system in a vehicle and equipment.
Candidates will be expected to have Basic Mechanical Skills with a strong knowledge and experience with Vehicle Electrical systems and be able to diagnose issues with equipment and trucks. The individuals must be high-energy self-starters who can take direction in the way we do things, then be able to work unsupervised and be accountable for completing jobs on time and satisfactorily.
Electrician Responsibilities:
Installing new vehicle wiring systems.
Installing and troubleshooting existing OEM equipment systems.
Gathering information from customers about issues with their electrical system.
Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing a course of action.
Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems.
Servicing and repairing electrical systems of equipment / truck electrical parts.
Maintaining a clean working environment.
Completing job reports and processing paperwork.
Electrician Requirements:
High school diploma and auto electrical qualification certificate.
Proven work experience as an auto electrician.
Advanced knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems.
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Complex problem-solving skills.
Ability to operate electrical diagnostic equipment.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work standing or in a crouched position for long periods.
Ability to distinguish subtle color variations.
Job hours are M-F 8am to 4:30 Some Over time Avail.
Wages depend on your experience and knowledge. You must be able to pass a company physical.
