SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a part-time/full-time Dining Room Attendant and Dishwasher to join our team at a lovely boarding school in East Haddam, CT. Most often, this person will be front-of-house, ensuring that our serving stations are clean and well stocked, and will help out in the dish room as well. SAGE also cross-trains its employees to serve our communities seamlessly, so every day can bring new experiences and room room to grow your food service career!
The dining hall is generally open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and we can be flexible on your hours within that range!

What you'll do:
Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile!
Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled utensils, dishes and pots.
Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.
Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen.
What you'll need:
Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.
Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.
Prior commercial dishwashing experience preferred, however, we can teach any motivated individual.
