ESTABLISHED Utility line clearance company seeking for an OVERSITE FORESTER to the company's General Foreman of the CONNECTICUT crews. EXCELLENT! opportunity for someone looking to break into the utility/tree work industry and learn the career of INTEGRATED VEGETATION MANAGEMENT. He or She will work directly with management on long term projects from planning to completion and will have the opportunity to make contacts within the industry.
Additional job duties would be:
Handling all administrative tasks for the crews.
Report to assigned crew location at start time.
Take attendance of all crew members and report any absent or late employees.
Collect daily DOT paperwork, Job briefing forms, climbing equipment inspection data, etc.
Run errands for Working foreman /crews/GFs during daily operations.
Communicate with Homeowners general inquiries
Support Working Foreman any logistic daily operations.
Support the General foreman any projects specific needs.
FORESTRY STUDENTS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.
ARBORIST or SPRAY credentials will result in higher pay.
CDL and ability to speak Spanish will be a PLUS!.
Training opportunities and assistance will be provided to pursue industry certifications such as: ISA arborist, CT state Arborist, Junior Applicator License & Supervisory Spray License.
