Knowledge of LAN and WAN systems and topology
Troubleshoot computer systems, Network, hardware and computer peripherals
Basic administration of Network and server equipments
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating System and other Microsoft applications.
Detailed Requirements:
Microsoft Windows 2008/2012 - AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Terminal Services, etc.
Active Directory user administration on Windows 2008/2012.
MAC OS X 10.6 and 10.7
Windows 7 and 10
Symantec Backup Exec
Microsoft Office 2007/2010/2016 suite
PC Imaging and deployment to laptops / desktops
Enterprise Antivirus Solution
Malware Troubleshooting
Blackberry / iPhone / Android phone support and configuration for email and Active synch
Basic knowledge of Firewall/VPN/Remote Access hardware
Basic knowledge on VMware Virtual Infrastructure
Basic knowledge of Web Server Technologies - IIS, Apache, PHP, MSSQL, MYSQL
Other Preferred Skills:
Provide a daily report to supervisor with a summary of any issues or constraints.
Perform problem determination and escalate unresolved issues to Level 2 IT support team.
Must have the ability to work with other departments and customers to quickly resolve issues
Individual must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to build and maintain effective business relationships.
This position requires exercising some independent judgment.
