Our growing service team based in Connecticut is seeking an experienced Marine Body Shop Technician in our service department to take care of the paint repair and refinish needs of our fleet of Hinckley and custom Powerboats. The ideal candidate will have experience in repairing surface damage and maintenance of existing finishes to topsides/hulls and bottoms.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in surface repair and maintenance
Knowledge of marine paint and priming procedures and products used
Careful attention to detail
Willingness to learn and grow experience within the existing service team
Ability to follow written work orders, take notes while performing work and communicate the work performed effectively to Service Manager and/or supervisor
Experience in a boat yard/marina is a plus
Duties & Responsibilities:
Surface repairs, prepping for paint/primer, masking, cleaning
Ability to safely set up and use work staging and power tools
