Luna AFM is looking to fill 40 permanent positions for delivery drivers. We are looking for people who like to push themselves and who seek a stable environment that also offers opportunities for advancement.
We are a logistics company and provide last mile deliveries.
We operate out of Plainfield CT.
The pay for delivery driver is $22.50/hour and we provide the truck as well as all the other essential tools to make the day successful.
Tasks
Deliver packages safely and efficiently to customers' homes or businesses.
Track delivery routes and schedules.
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicles.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
Obey all traffic laws and regulations when operating a delivery vehicle.
Qualifications
Delivery drivers must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid United States issued driver's licence with a clean record and a clean criminal record.
Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and climb stairs at a dynamic pace.
Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
Note: Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required. Paid professional development; on road driving and classroom training.
