Experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team of Electro- Mechanical professionals. As a full service electrical/mechanical engineering firm and energy service provider, we offer a unique combination of products and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide engineering, service and support of electrical installations, drive applications and control programming for the manufacturing environment. Troubleshoot electrical and control systems, prepare quotes for existing and customized products and manage new and current projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong aptitude for and understanding of structural/mechanical equipment (including the ability to read, create, and understand technical (CAD) drawings, specifications and other documentation) Automation/Assembly Machines.
Experience with troubleshooting of electrical controls, variable frequency drives, DC drives, motors, operators, switches, etc.
Should be familiar with PLC control systems and be capable of editing PLC ladder logic programming.
Must be able to work well with customers and their operators and engineers at their facility and if necessary, work with third party contractors in the field.
The successful candidate must be capable of operating with a minimum of supervision, have strong problem-solving skills, strong computer skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work well with people.
Be willing to travel to customer job sites mostly in New England.
Must have a CDL and live in CT
