Pieology Shift Leader

The Team Shift Leader is an hourly position and is responsible for providing timely, accurate, positive, engaging and friendly guest service. This role will require the shift leader to function independently. They will be responsible for preparing quality food products and keeping the restaurant clean, pleasant and safe for all guests and employees. Team Members are instrumental parts of the team that grow the business through repeat guests, increased sales and profitability. All Shift Leaders must work well in a fast-paced, positive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

— Works with the GM to ensure appropriate daily restaurant staffing levels.

— Must be an excellent coach and communicator.

— Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.

— Complete understanding of each key position in both the front or back of house.

— Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 30 lbs.

— Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Involves GM immediately when needed or diffuses situation until GM can reach out.

— Assists with new team member training, giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed. Provides feedback to store manager on performance during shift.

— Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, and timely feedback to the team on shift to ensure performance.

— Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by adhering to Pieologys LEGUP core values and acting with a customer comes first attitude. Connecting with the customer. Discovers and responds to customer needs.

— Executes store operations during scheduled shifts. Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned.

— Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

— Execute cash management duties as assigned for opening and closing cash drawers. Maintain accurate counting and data entry into POS system

— Perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant as needed and without hesitation.

— Follow safety and security standards at all times.

— Manage companys assets and keep the restaurant, prep, and storage areas clean and organized. Follows cleaning and task lists and is accountable for their completion.

— All other duties as assigned.

Salary: $13.50 /hour
