Were seeking a friendly, motivated, detailed individual for our client in Torrington, CT. In this role, you will operate Industrial Stitching Machines to perform sewing operations neatly, consistently and within the bounds of standard time. Sewers must demonstrate consistent quality sewing - basting, binding, assembly and top stitch operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate Basic Sewing machine knowledge - needle changes, thread changes, bobbin changes.
Various stitch and speed adjustment to produce company products
Working knowledge of various fabrics use for company products
Maintain work area in a clean and organized manner
ability to work overtime as business needs dictate
Able to lift up to 15lbs heavy use of hands and arms
