I'm a local business of 15 years and looking for part time labor help. Consisting of several days a week or more on demand as needed. Probably a good job for a college student home for the summer.
I have a furniture and antiques business looking for help with moving of furniture, staging the store, moving pieces within the store, hanging art, organizing, local deliveries and local pickups on occasion.
There are several projects in the works right now, including clearing of several areas in the back of the store, and emptying of a warehouse.
Moving or warehouse work experience preferred (knowledge of how to handle items, pickup furniture, etc. is useful). Must be able to lift 50 lbs over your head. Generally items are not that heavy (they just require two people to move) but do require strength.
Must have your own car / reliable transportation, If you are in Morris/Bantam area pickup/dropoff may be an option.
PAY: $20/hr
LOCATION: Bantam, CT
HOURS: From now 5/12/25 through end of month there will be more Tues/Wed/Thur days of work available - after 6/1 (when warehouse is gone) work days can vary Mon-Fri typical work hours fall in the timeframe of 9-3 or 9-4 but flexible.
