JOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for providing and taking specific managerial ownership of the monthly result reporting, monthly accruals, quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting and strategic planning processes. This individual will also support the completion of ad hoc financial analysis to determine present and future financial performance. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESForecast/Budget process ownership – financial modeling, analysis and report publicationMonthly accrual process – use billing system and knowledge of accounting concepts to work with accounting on expense accrualsActively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Prepare and review reports & other analysis as required for achieving financial objectives.Perform analysis of data trends on actual results, forecasted results, and operational budget spend to enable team to meet Key Performance IndicatorsUnderstand financial models to actualize and forecast resultsUtilize analysis to identify cost savings opportunitiesCreate operating expense reforecastCoordinate operating expense variance analysis and reportingWork closely with the Credit Services operations team(s) to share monthly results, and align any rate or process changesPerform other duties as requested REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities Ability to analyze and interpret data Ability to quickly identify business problems/opportunities Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel Ability to manage multiple projects at one time Ability to prioritize and organize effectively Knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, etc. Required EducationBachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience Required Related Work Experience and Number of YearsBusiness planning/Financial analysis or related experience - 2+ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPreferred Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeStrong financial modeling and data analytical skillsKnowledge of expense accrual process Preferred EducationB.S. in Finance, Economics, Business or similar area WORKING CONDITIONSOffice environment
