Cable Technician

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Cable Technician to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Cable Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems. Whether you’re an entry-level candidate or an experienced expert, we encourage you to apply! Responsibilities

Pull, terminate, punch down, and test cables

Install and maintain structured cabling systems

Collaborate with other technicians and teams

Ensure professional conduct and adherence to safety protocols

Requirements

1-3 years of relevant experience

Proficiency in cabling (Cat5, Cat6)

Familiarity with installation procedures

OSHA30 certification

AdditionalSkills & Qualifications

Entry-level applicants are welcome

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Cable, Cabling, Terminate, Terminations, Installing, IDF, MDF, Structured Cabling, Racks, Label, Test, Certify, Low Voltage
