Description We are offering an opportunity for a Controller to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. The role will be focused on overseeing and managing U.S. based accounts payable and receivable resources, supervising general ledger activity, and supporting the Global Controller with efficiency initiatives and M& A related integration efforts. Responsibilities Oversee and manage a U.S. based team focused on accounts receivable and accounts payable functions Supervise day-to-day general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Support the end of month and year-end close processes Build and maintain relationships with business partners, providing requested information and insights when necessary Assist the Global Controller with efficiency initiatives and M& A related integration efforts Conduct research and communicate technical accounting issues and solutions to the Global Controller Keep up to date on current GAAP pronouncements, particularly those impacting accounting for revenue Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning solutions to streamline accounting functions Ensure compliance with DCAA regulations Participate in auditing and budget processes and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions Utilize NetSuite and other ERP Solutions for managing financial services and accounting functions. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Experience with DCAA regulations and requirements Proficient understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Knowledge of ERP Solutions Ability to manage and oversee all Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proven track record in Auditing Ability to manage and oversee Budget Processes Experience with NetSuite software Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller or similar role.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
