Description We are inviting applications for the position of Senior Accountant, based in STAMFORD, Connecticut. As a key player in the hospitality sector, you will mainly focus on general ledger accounting, daily revenue tracking, and financial analysis.Responsibilities:
Accurately process and document daily income for various business units.
Monitor and properly record daily receipts for distinct businesses.
Reconcile and register daily card transactions with business systems and bank accounts.
Maintain daily cash balance for all designated locations.
Address and register card chargebacks, perform monthly analysis.
Garner and examine balance sheet account matches.
Supervise account settlements and rectify any discrepancies.
Manage cash and investment activities.
Prepare and submit tax returns relevant to business operations.
Provide assistance to various areas of the accounting division as required.
Partake in periodic financial closures.
Conduct special initiatives and analysis as delegated.
Requirements
